My only disappointment was that I told the hostess that it was my best friend's birthday, and I noticed later on, that's when we were drinking our cocktails that they came in with music to the customer I don't know if he was celebrating his birthday as well. So I mean I was sad but food delicious coming back again.

We’ve now been here 4 times, and it never fails to disappoint. Topmix is now my favorite restaurant in the Boston area. Finally a place with delicious, authentic Caribbean and Latin flavors in this area! We’ve been for both lunch and dinner. For dinner, their ropa vieja mofongo was to die for. Their lunch 12 for 12 menu is an incredible deal for such high quality food... We love their sandwiches (Cubano and pastrami are standouts), and their chipotle steak salad is incredible (and such a generous portion of steak). Delicious caipirinhas (their guava caipirinha is my favorite). Quick walk from the Red Line (and parking at the Alewife T stop if needed). Atmosphere, artwork, music, and service was phenomenal (the only thing more I could wish for is to have an area for dancing at night). Overall I can’t recommend highly enough and will be back frequently... definitely give it a try!!!

I went to this restaurant for the first time this past weekend to celebrate one of my great friends’ birthday. The place was beautiful felt warm and welcoming and fun. However, one of the best parts was our server. His name is Cristiano and he was so kind and knowledgeable of the menu, made great suggestions from drinks to food, and he was so fun! It was an absolute blast to be served by him. I can’t wait to go back. I absolutely enjoyed the place, but I hope we get served again by Cristiano.

WOW! 5 stars for everything. We tried almost everything on the menu! The food was amazing... we had the chicharon bowl, the bourbon and banana pancakes, fried cheese, salami, plantains, the chorizo omelette and few more plates. Not one bad dish. Only thing they could improve on is the coffee - it was blah - they also didn’t have Splenda ... it was small stuff. Def wish they were closer to Boston. Gregory was an amazing waiter He deserves some credit. Be back soon!

Visited this restaurant with my family for dinner and had a truly delightful experience. The music was enchanting, the food was served promptly and arrived piping hot, and the ambiance struck a perfect balance between upscale sophistication and relaxation. The highlight of our evening was the exceptional service provided by Gregory. His genuine recommendations elevated the dining experience, showcasing a rare quality of attentiveness and knowledge, particularly for a newer establishment like this one. Parking was fairly convenient, as we found free street parking a short walk away further down the street. While all the dishes we tried were satisfying, the Margarita’s were undoubtedly the standout. Pricing felt very reasonable, especially considering the extremely generous portion sizes. I’ve been to the other two locations, unsurprisingly this one is another home run and my personal favorite for its vibe. One minor suggestion: bag hooks for the ladies on the standard tables. I know they had them for the bar but I recommend having attachable ones for the other tables (unless we missed it).

This restaurant is great! The food is amazing, the drinks are great, and our server Gregory was also amazing. He did a great job bringing out the food, drinks, and helped celebrate our friend’s birthday. Great hospitality and attitude!

We had a great experience last week. Went with wife and some friends, the ambient is pretty fancy and the staff were great, very helpful. Leonardo took care of us and he made sure our glasses were always full lol. Loved the food by the way, we’ll be back for sure. Thanks Leo!!

It was an amazing experience. My server was so attentive and helpful. It was so refreshing having an intellectual conversation with Leo. He was from Brazil. Having recently visited it was cool to explore and learn more about the history and culture from his point of view. Great experience was my first time at Cambridge location Leo is a great asset!
